The Clients tab is your address book for managing business relationships. Store contact details, track transaction history, and configure client-specific settings for invoicing.
Shared with Quotes
The Clients section is shared between Quotes and Invoices. All client information, settings, and history are available in both modules.

Client fields for invoicing
Key fields that affect invoices:
- Business Name: Appears on all invoices
- Email: Receives invoice emails
- Payment Terms: Overrides default terms for this client
- ABN: For their tax records (optional)
- Billing Address: Appears on invoices
Integration with Invoices
Client settings directly affect invoicing:
- Auto-populate: Client details fill automatically when creating invoices
- Payment terms: Client-specific terms pre-fill on new invoices
- Email delivery: Primary contact receives invoice emails
- Statements: Client grouping for account statements

For invoicing
- Keep billing addresses current
- Verify email addresses before sending large invoices
- Set appropriate payment terms per client relationship

Data hygiene
- Merge duplicates promptly
