Team

The Team module manages your workforce, payroll, and HR functions. Invite team members, process payroll, track timesheets, manage leave, and handle superannuation—all with Australian compliance built-in.

What Team does

Team management covers the complete employee lifecycle:

  • Invite and manage team members with role-based access
  • Process payroll with STP (Single Touch Payroll) reporting
  • Track timesheets and hours worked
  • Manage leave requests and balances
  • Handle superannuation contributions
  • Configure team settings and permissions

Manage your workforce:

Payroll

Process employee payments:

  • Create and manage pay runs
  • Navigate pay periods
  • View pay run status (Draft, Pending Approval, Completed)
  • Lodge STP to the ATO from each pay run’s Pay & Lodge via ATO Reporting (STP)

STP (AU only)

Run and review year-end STP finalisation:

  • Status table — each employee’s finalisation status for the current and prior financial year, with per-row Finalise / Submitted / Finalised / Retry states.
  • One-click finalisation per employee, or bulk per FY (“Finalise all N for FY 20XX-XX”).
  • Re-finalise affordance on already-finalised rows (for corrections or late adjustments).
  • Filing history — paginated list of every STP submission your business has lodged.

Pay-run STP submissions (per pay event) are still lodged from Pay & Lodge on the pay run itself; Team → STP is specifically for year-end finalisation.

Timesheets

Track hours worked:

  • Weekly view for each team member
  • Enter regular and overtime hours
  • Track by day or pay period
  • Approve timesheet entry

My HR Panel (Employee Self-Service)

Team members have personal HR access through the Dashboard. The My HR panel provides employees with quick access to their own HR functions without needing admin permissions.

How it works

  • Employees access My HR through the Dashboard
  • Each shortcut opens a personal view showing only their data
  • No admin permissions required—just business membership + payroll status
  • Routes are under /my/ namespace (e.g., /my/timesheets, /my/leave)

For AU payroll, some tax and STP settings are intentionally managed from the Team Member admin record rather than being fully editable in employee self-service.

Jobs integration

When the Jobs module is enabled:

  • Employees see My Jobs shortcut showing only jobs they’re assigned to
  • Track shortcut allows time tracking against assigned jobs
  • Employees can view job processes and mark them complete
  • No access to financial data or other people’s jobs

  • Employees manage their own timesheets and leave requests
  • Reduces admin workload for managers
  • Payslips and super details available 24/7
  • Personal details kept up-to-date by employees

User roles

Rebased uses role-based access control:

AU notes

  • Single Touch Payroll (STP): Lodge each pay run from Pay & Lodge via ATO Reporting (STP). Rebased supports original submissions and updates for accepted pay runs. See Team → STP for year-end finalisation and the full filing history.
  • STP Finalisation: Done from Team → STP after the last pay run for a financial year — one-click per employee or in bulk per FY. Re-finalisation and retry-after-rejection are available from the same screen.
  • Superannuation Guarantee: Tracks SG contributions at current legislated rates
  • Leave entitlements: Annual leave, personal/sick leave per Fair Work standards
  • Award/EBA support: Configurable pay rates based on employment agreements
  • Jobs - Team members record time against jobs
  • Reports - Payroll and team analytics
  • Settings - Business-level configuration
  • Dashboard - My HR Panel for employee self-service
