My HR Panel

The My HR panel provides quick access to your personal HR functions. It appears as a horizontal scrolling row of icon buttons below your task lists on the Dashboard.

How it works

  • Employees access My HR through the Dashboard
  • Each shortcut opens a personal view showing only your data
  • No admin permissions required—just business membership + payroll status
  • Routes are under /my/ namespace (e.g., /my/timesheets, /my/leave)

Setup banner

If you have self_setup_enabled but haven’t completed setup, a “Complete Your Payroll Setup” banner appears above the My HR buttons. Click it to go to My Details and finish your setup.

Timesheets

Submit and view your personal timesheets:

  • Access: Dashboard → My HR → Timesheets
  • Shows only your timesheet for current pay period
  • 14-day grid (Mon-Sun x 2 weeks)
  • Enter regular and overtime hours
  • Submit for approval when complete

See Timesheets for admin team view documentation.

My Jobs

View jobs assigned to you:

  • Access: Dashboard → My HR → My Jobs
  • Shows only jobs you’re assigned to via the job_assignments table
  • No access to financial data or other people’s jobs
  • Kanban, table, calendar, and timeline views available

Jobs access model

The My Jobs button uses a three-tier permission model:

TierControlWho It Affects
1. Business toggleAdmins enable/disable Jobs module for entire businessEveryone—if disabled, no one sees Jobs
2. Module permissionjobs checkbox in team member permissionsUsers with this permission see full Jobs sidebar item (Jobs Managers)
3. My Jobs accessAutomatic for all team membersAnyone can see My Jobs if Jobs module enabled—even without module permission

Key point: Tier 3 (My Jobs) requires no special permissions. Any team member assigned to jobs can access their personal job view.

Super

View your superannuation details (AU only):

  • Access: Dashboard → My HR → Super
  • Current super fund information
  • Contribution history
  • SG rate tracking

AU-specific: SG rate is 11.5% for 2024-25, increasing to 12%.

My Details

Update your personal information:

  • Access: Dashboard → My HR → My Details
  • Personal details (name, address, contact)
  • Tax file number and tax settings
  • Bank account for payroll
  • Super fund — search and select your fund from Rebased’s shared APRA catalogue (fund name, ABN and USI are filled in for you). Add your Member Number next to the selection.
  • Emergency contacts

Used for self-service payroll setup when self_setup_enabled is true. If your fund isn’t an APRA-regulated fund (for example, a Self-Managed Super Fund), ask your admin to add it from Superannuation → Super Funds → + Add SMSF and then select it here.

About your Tax File Number (TFN)

Your TFN is required before your employer can run pay for you. Enter it exactly as it appears on your ATO records — Rebased checks the number is valid.

If you haven’t received your TFN yet, ask your employer to record your status on your behalf. The ATO recognises two placeholder codes for this: 111 111 111 means “applied for a TFN” (normal tax for 28 days), and 000 000 000 means “no TFN supplied” (47% withholding). You don’t normally enter these yourself — your employer will.

If you claim an exemption (for example, you’re under 18 and earning below the tax-free threshold, or you receive a pension), your employer can record that instead of a TFN.

Self-service benefits

  • Employees manage their own timesheets and leave requests
  • Reduces admin workload for managers
  • Payslips and super details available 24/7
  • Personal details kept up-to-date by employees
  • Job assignments visible without accessing full Jobs module

Troubleshooting

My HR buttons missing

  • Confirm you’re on payroll (contact admin)
  • Check if Jobs module is enabled for My Jobs/Track buttons
  • AU users on payroll will see Super button
  • If self-setup is incomplete, you may see a setup banner instead

Can’t access a specific shortcut

  • Timesheets: Requires requires_timesheet flag on your employee record
  • My Jobs/Track: Jobs module must be enabled for the business
  • Super: Only available for AU region
  • All shortcuts: Must be an active employee (not contractor) on payroll

Data not showing

  • Verify you’re viewing the correct pay period (for timesheets)
  • Check that you’ve been assigned to jobs (for My Jobs)
  • Ensure payroll has been processed (for payslips)
